Team Impact is honored to present the 2017 Joshua Stukes Mental Attitude Award to Maliyah Parks.
Maliyah played on the 16U Girls team and was selected for her great attitude, sportsmanship and overall effort that she displays.
Here’s what Coach Wayne Norman had to say about Maliyah on her nomination form:
“Maliyah is the consummate teammate. She is the first to pick someone up, both physically and verbally.
I have never seen her present any negative actions or emotions towards a teammate, coach, parent, or even the referees.
She always plays with 100% effort and has begun to become more of a vocal leader as well as the example leader that she already was. She sets the standard for team before self.
Her positive attitude and natural leadership is why I would like to nominate her from our team.”
Maliyah received an iPad for winning this award. We are so proud of this young lady who is also a great student-athlete.
